Interview: Distant Stares
Distant Stares is the goth / post-punk solo project of Lassi, a Finnish guitarist and producer. Since 2022, Distant Stares has released an impressive catalog of classic dark goth music, weaving catchy bass lines with dissonant, moody guitar riffs laid over minimal synth textures. Now a five-piece, Distant Stares is producing some of their best work to date, bringing new life to their sound without sacrificing the dark undercurrents that define them.
